Anne and I were friends in elementary school. We both went to NC State, and often she picked me up for swimming class - I took her class and mine. I ran into her once in Raleigh - she was so excited because she had gotten married and had a child. I was so sorry to hear that she had died of cancer. Anne was a nice girl and very smart. Her life was too short, like so many of our classmates. May God be with her child and her family.
