Darrell was born on July 14, 1948 and deceased on December 15, 1967.  He was the son of Odell Cleveland Cagle and Jesse Mae Barnhardt Cagle.  Darrell was very artistically talented and was studying art at Richmond Technical Institute when he died.  He died at the young age of 19, probably as a result of Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome for which he had been treated for many years.
