Linda Faye was in school with me at Mt. Vernon Goodwin Elementary - I think I still have her 1st grade picture. I remember that in 1st grade I had been out sick for a couple of days, and when I came back to school I had to draw a picture - well, you have to understand that I hated art (I know that's weird, but I never could draw). And most of us couldn't read at 6 years old back then. Well, I did not want to have to think of a picture to draw, so I tried to copy Linda Faye's drawing, and I also copied her name! I don't remember a lot of the past, but I will never forget that!

I visited at Linda Faye's home frequently during time at Mt Vernon.  That is where I learned to ride a bike.

I remember her from Broughton...we had classes together.  She was a very nice girl but I never saw her outside of school.  Sorry to hear that she has passed away.

Linda was one of my closest friends in elementary school and through high school. We hung out together at her house and mine, she had a great laugh, and even our mothers were best friends. I lost contact with Linda in the 70's and made attempts to locate her after that time to no avail. I'm saddened that she passed away so young.
